Jay has gone through a couple different boats from what friend and family called the green boat (passed on from his uncles) to an 18 ft. tower boat. 

His boat of choice these days is the 18 ft. 2003 Maverick Master Angler powered with a 175 hp Yamaha HPDI.  The Maverick is a well built boat that can float in approximately 12” of water, yet, it handles the seas impressively.  It has a 25 gallon live well with two 700 gallon/hour pumps to keep plenty of bait alive for the entire day.  It is also equipped with a Motor Guide 74 lb thrust trolling motor to get to fishing spots as stealthy as possible.
